To manage resources, financial aspects and all requirements relating to the Area in support of the Ovations offerings and in executing on the company strategy.

Requirements
Offering Support
•Understanding the various Ovations offerings and ensuring knowledge of these is shared within the Area.
•Working with Offering Leads to maintain partnerships by driving resource recruitment and certifications.
•Working with Offering Leads to develop realistic marketing and sales strategies and plan for adequate resourcing for delivering on offerings.
•Providing input into proposals and reviewing thereof as required.
•Ensuring proposals are of a high quality to assist with a healthy pipeline.

Financial management
•Ensuring timeous submission/approval of area timesheets.
•Ensuring accurate information is submitted including variance analysis between actual and targets.
•Providing input into company dynamic business forecast (DBF).
•Tracking actual revenue against DBF.
•Managing expenses for the area.
•Monitoring profitability of resource utilisation.
•Providing input into company rate card.

Resourcing
•Initiating recruitment process and appointing or contracting resources with the right skills to be available to deliver on the accepted opportunities.
•Working with the People team to build a candidate database of skills to support the sales pipeline.
•Complying with company Employment Equity targets.
•Resource selection – assigning the right employees or contractors to projects.
•Where possible ensure the rotation of employees at appropriate intervals.
•Ensuring Role profiles for the area are relevant and updated.
•Onboarding of new resources into the area after the Ovations company Orientation.

Employee administration
•Timeously approve leave, timesheets and claims and ensure accuracy of information.
•Liaising with all Project Leads / Engagement Leads regularly regarding resource performance and any related project issues.
•Ensuring new resources are welcomed and on boarded onto projects.
•Facilitating the exit and handover process for resources leaving the area.
•Ensuring CV’s for resources in the Area are current after each project engagement and updated for sales opportunity.
•Ensuring resources comply with and adhere to company policies, procedures and processes.

Team Wellness
•Encouraging team work and collaboration.

•Motivating and supporting all resources.
•Timeous communication of relevant information to resources.
•Addressing conflict and disciplinary issues timeously.
•Clearly communicating of structures and role expectations to resources.

Performance Management
•Clearly communicating expectations where applicable to resources.
•Ensuring formal performance and expectation feedback according to requirements.
•Ensuring that non-performance issues are addressed directly and timeously with the individuals concerned.
•Monitoring of resources’ productivity and timeously addressing any issues.

Manage training
•Discussing individual training and development needs and contracted in the form of an individual development plan.
•Identifying overall training needs through appropriate assessments and working in collaboration with the People team to source development solutions.
•Identifying Area specific training/certification and managing employees in attaining the above.
•Responding to Vendor training requests; providing candidates earmarked for certification and managing attainment thereof.
•Ensuring every employee signed the required continuation of service agreements where applicable.

Talent Management
•Identifying of key individuals to retain and ensure succession planning in place as required.
•Recommending the appointment / promotion of employee with the appropriate knowledge, skills, competencies and organisational fit.
•Defining the Area organisational structure in support of company and offering strategies.
•Making time available to coach employees.
•Creating a climate that will foster learning and growth.

Remuneration Management
•Providing input into remuneration decisions.
•Communicating the basis of remuneration and bonuses decisions clearly to employees.
•Continuously reviewing each employee against salary bands and market demands to ensure all employees received market related salaries.
